About Us

Fera’wyn’s Artisan Chocolates was founded by husband and wife team, David and Joana Whittingham in late 2012. Their love for one another and shared love of chocolate helped them launch their dream of quality truffles and confections.

In 2018 the pair moved to Holly Springs to open their first brick and mortar store Fera'wyn's Chocolate Cafe. A delightful shop featuring their award winning truffles, pasties, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (using real chocolate). They make everything in house, down to the flavored syrups used in their latte's ''We chose Holly Springs primarily because of the people. It's the community we want to be a part of, and what better way than to bring the joy of fine chocolate!'' - David

David, a graduate of Ecole Chocolate, and Joana, a self-taught artisan work together to create truffles that are both beautiful and flavorful. Together they enjoyed additional training from industry professionals in Las Vegas, Santa Cruz, the CIA – Greystone, and Florence Italy.

Fera’wyn’s continues to win awards for their chocolates all over the US. Three years running, they have received the highest award of six stars (Grand Master Chocolatiers) from Taste TV.
