From Karen:
My degree is in Human Resource Management but I credit most of my interpersonal skills to my 20+ year career in the United States Air Force. I have extensive experience in developing and mentoring leaders and teams in various capacities. As a leadership instructor I spent 4 years facilitating such topics as: Transformational Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Change Management, Diversity and Personality Types, just to name a few.
I also have a breadth of international experience helping militaries and organizations develop their most valuable asset, people. Through interaction and problem solving I was able to develop a two-week international trainer course, which organized leadership curriculum into 15 lesson plans. This course is now sought after by numerous international militaries.
Being able to identify performance gaps and fill them with professional development has been a life treasure for me personally. My passion for helping others discover their full potential is what I strive to do with every interaction. My goal is to be a servant leader, enriching the lives of others so that they may lead with purpose. This desire led me to join the John Maxwell Team.
